Directions on Campus (yellow path on the map below)
After leaving the U35 at the station "Ruhr-Universität"

• Take the escalator or stairs. Turn to the right across the university bridge
• Pass by the university library (UB) on the left side
• Take the stairs on the left side towards the row of the I-buildings
• Take another small staircase passing under the entrance to IA, then continue past HIA to find IB

Directions within IB

• Go past the infopoint and the lockers (and before the library entrance) to find the elevators and stairs "I-Süd" on the right
• Choose level E2 or E3 (not 02 or 03!) to get to the correct floors

Directions in Bochum

• From Bochum Hbf (main station) take line U35 (underground) bound for Hustadt/Querenburg
• Get off at the station "Ruhr-Universität"

Arrival via train

• Find a connection to get to "Bochum Hbf." Within the region you can board regional train lines such as RE1, RE6, or S1.

Arrival via plane

• The best connection via airplane is from Düsseldorf Airport (DUS). From there you can easily take the aforementioned train lines: RE1 bound for Hamm, RE6 bound for Minden, S1 bound for Dortmund.
• Alternative airports are in Dortmund (DTM), Cologne-Bonn (CGN), or Frankfurt (FRA)
