Christmas Colloquium 2026

This year's Christmas Colloquium of the Department of Mathematics will take place on December 9, 2026, starting at 3:30 p.m. Prof. Dr. Geordie Williamson from the University of Sydney, Australia, will give a lecture at 4:30 p.m. on the topic “AI's and humanity's longest conversation.”

Following the ceremony, doctoral candidates and outstanding students will be honored in collaboration with the Friends of the Department of Mathematics.

Dinner will be served starting at 6:00 p.m. at the “Rote Beete” in the cafeteria.
