Elena Hoster

About my research

I started my PhD in October 2022 in the Algebraic Combinatorics group under the supervision of Christian Stump. My research focuses on polynomials arising from reflection arrangements, posets and matroids. I also become more interested in Chow rings of matroids, and in real-rootedness phenomena. In general, I like to work with combinatorial structures that arise from the symmetric group or can be structured in a poset.
