Bachelor of Arts Mathematics (2 subjects degree)
In the mathematics program within the 2-subject Bachelor of Arts degree program, the fundamentals of mathematics are firmly established and students are introduced to first applications. The study program is essentially divided into two sections. In the first part, the compulsory modules Analysis and Linear Algebra equip students with important mathematical thinking skills, computational techniques, and the ability to formulate mathematical statements as well as carry out initial proofs independently. As early as the second year, students can shape their studies according to their own preferences and interests.
With the Bachelor of Arts Mathematics, students acquire fundamental mathematical skills and knowledge, such as analytical thinking or the modeling of processes in nature, technology and society. The degree program is application orientated and is designed for professional width. Graduates receive an excellent basis for taking up a master's degree in mathematics but also in other subjects that have an application connection with mathematics.
